I Teo. I just found that thread a few minutes ago and copied the info down. Do you feel you did it in the best direction? I think 18.4 miles would be good. It's a warm up hike for the 100 mile wilderness in a few weeks. :) Bye Pam

Hey All. Can anyone suggest a good loop approximately 20-25 miles long in the Whites? I'd like to get as many 4000 footers in that I haven't hiked yet. I'm about half way through. Any 4000 footer peaks I can add to the Trypyramids to make it a longer hike? Doesn't have to be a 4000...

I was wondering if anyone that has the North Face Solo 12 Tent could tell me if this is the case with their tent? I just purchased the North Face Solo 12 Tent. When I feed the orange pole through the sleeve, it's extremely hard to get it into the color coordinated grommets/tabs. I feel like...

Thanks Capt. As far as leaving it on an hour before you start a hike.... do you have turn it on while driving up to the whites....or are you out of the car with in on for an hour before a hike?

Thanks again for everyone's valuable input. Capt....My mapsource was 6.10 and I just updated it to 6.11.6 . Since I just downloaded mapsource a few days ago....I assumed the download was the most recent version....but I guess I guessed wrong! I'll try the GPS without the external antenna...
