Went up to Snows Mt Saturday nice hike. Snow was not too deep spikes provided plenty of traction. Plenty of snow up top 3 feet deep as I found out. Its a shame the trail does not go all the way to the summit. Its a pretty easy whack as long as you stay on the ridge.

Great advice and tips from all thank you. I do love Bushwhacking the adventure the challenge the knowledge that you are 100% on your own. The only way you will prevailed is good planning, patience and keeping your wits about you. Its exciting, scary and fun I love it Regards Rich Farrell

I have paid the gate attendant many times. But he is not always there. I don't believe the lot 200 yards from the Cog is officially "Hiker" parking. actual Hiker parking is back down the road about 1 mile I only remember paying $5 bucks no big deal RVF
