Planned on whacking up Mount Cushman but 118 is closed. Thought about Hubbard Brook Road at the very end but I'll bet because of the rescent wind and rain,blowdowns and bad road may block that approach. Any suggestions?

Did a hike up Carr Mountain on Monday. Wife & I saw nobody all day. No views off summit unless your tall and stand on the removed fire tower stairs. Still a good hike kicking through dry leaves all day. There was some good fall color too, and no people.
