Been trying to stay busy this spring Working on the New England 67. This past weekend I got to go to Maine and work on my remaining peaks. I was able to hike the Crockers and the Bigelows. The Crockers were a struggle in the storm with limited views but the Bigelow hike was a winner with a...
My other dog General Patton and I stayed up there this past fall. There were 11 people total and two dogs so it was quite warm. It was a blast! Made some great friends that night. I would have been very cold up there Saturday night though with only my 30 degree bag. Very glad I did not go for it.
With only a month left to winter the heat is on for Lucy and I to finish our single winter season 48. Catch up on the story and get our reports for this weekends hikes of Liberty, Flume, Cabot, and Wambec here http://wp.me/p3XzRU-vi Let's just hope we can keep the wind in our sails!

Sorry just saw this reply. I love hiking with the little lady. Boy was that a tough climb over that ridge. My buddy Tim had a great time though and that was the purpose of that hike. Keep an eye out for Lucy all winter long as we attempt our single winter season 48!
This weekend Lucy and I were out in the cold trying to bag our winter peaks. The weekend almost runs short when I forget Lucys jacket at home. We pull it together by weekends end and had a great time out in the cold. Read about our weekend here. http://wp.me/p3XzRU-tX

My holiday of hiking starts out slow with an exhausting bushwack up Hale and a failed attempt to connect Zealand. Oh it was terrible, but I crossed one off the winter list. http://wp.me/p3XzRU-pc
Sunday we celebrated the two grid completions. Congratulations to Jason Beaupre and Andrew Soares in their completion of the grid. I was lucky enough to hike along side for the occasion. Read all about it here. http://wp.me/p3XzRU-oV
It was perhaps one of the best hikes I had ever taken. A fantastic traverse with a great friend. The sights were perfect though the miles were tough. Read all about the hike of a lifetime here. http://wp.me/p3XzRU-ok
