overpriced outdoor gear stores I think both REI and EMS are overpriced , as are most other outdoor gear stores. I shop exclusively on www.Sierratradingpost.com, they have gear discounted from 30-70% off regular prices. They are cheap because most of the gear is closeouts from the previous year.

Hey Tramper Al I own a 87 westfalia camper and love it. Its hard to find a westie synchro but with the right tread I have no problems snow and light offroad. Happy trails!

Traveling to Bethel, ME area June 18th and need some ideas for hiking, canoeing, and a nice river spot to swim and relax. Are there any 4000's within a 30 min drive , if not, any scenic hike will do. Thanks to all who reply.
