Conditions: Conditions are very good, mostly hard pack on all the main trails. Some post holing on Parker around and either side of reservoir and I am told lower Lost Farm. Spotty ice in steep areas where run off occurs and/or excessive butt sliding occurred. Cliff Walk, Smith Connector, Ampi, Arrow and White Dot all in great shape. Even off trail most areas were able to support my 185lbs. Very fast track.
Equipment: We all wore Hillsounds or microspikes and other than a couple minor slips we had no serious issues or difficulties. Cold start and 20 mph wind on top but overall very comfortable. Standard winter gear and poles was all.
Comments: Nice start with lots of sun but clouded up by 11AM. Light snow predicted for Sunday which should not affect conditions at all.
