I wasn't going to put up "another Mt Tecumseh" TR but figured I would just to share the pics with anyone that is interested.
Friday night an old friend decided to join me for Saturday's hike as he had the day off and wanted to "accomplish" something in the morning. He had hiked Adams, Owl's Head, Carter Dome, N & S Kinsman, and Cardigan several times with me but is not what most of us would classify as a "hiker". Notice the heavy Carhartt vest in picture one. I will give him credit though, he handles the trails well and we made the 5 mile hike in 2.5 hours and I was back hume by 11:30am.
We followed the Mt Tecumseh and Sossman Tr up then the Mt Tecumseh Tr down. The trail was well packed and I wore microspikes while my friend barebooted. It was a balmy 3 degrees at the summit with a 5-10 mph wind.
