When my brother bought some property up in Milan in the early 1990s, a neighbor who was a packrat and dealer in junk had two ex military "weasels" M29 Weasel - Wikipedia that he claimed were used on Washington to support the jet engine testing. They were tracked open vehicles. At some point he sold them. Knowing the neighbor, the provenance could have been made up to increase their worth
They were on the surplus market and just as well may have come from elsewhere but it makes a good story.
