On Saturday, March 5, four of us followed a trail from Rte 9 over Bald Mtn where it ended in the col before we broke trail over Rocky Peak Ridge. Somewhere close to but east of the summit of RPR a branch stole my sunglasses. They are probably hanging over the trail, at eye level, by the string that normally hangs them around my neck. If found, please contact me.
We climbed Giant in the rain and descended to Rte 73 via a trail that had lost a good amount of snow-cover which left open patches of ice. Again, the rain will have changed things and the trail likely will be icy if the temperature drops.
