Right now, looking at Maine in Google Maps, they have I-6 shown across the state. The eastern end is just south of Spednic Lake on Old Codyfield Road, and then it traverses through Lincoln, Dover-Foxcroft, Monson, across 15/Long Pond Road, and back out of the country on 201.

Check it out (http://maps.google.com/maps?q=Maine+153,+&hl=en&ll=45.420624,-69.164429&spn=0.933064,1.426849&sll=45.266913,-69.224596&sspn=0.059804,0.12188&hnear=Maine+153,+Dover-Foxcroft,+Piscataquis,+Maine+04426&t=m&z=10)

Here's a screenshot, so you can see it right here without going to the website:

That's going to be one lonesome road!

If you zoom in close enough, you can see a sign bearing this warning:

"Notice: This road is not maintained for winter travel."

Shouldn’t that be 96, anyway? Interstate 6 would be way down South someplace.

Symbol error. Somebody added "Inter" before "State Route 6." Amusing, though, in light of the public dialogue about the "East-West Highway."
