Thanks all for the great input.
Peakbagger, who makes vests with downtek treatment? Might be leaning toward down now.
Looking to get an insulated vest. Seems like everyone has down vests. I'm looking for synthetic insulation. Like the idea of down, but don't they have to be dry cleaned?
Thanks
Agreeing with the comment that this is supposed to be a hiking board.
If you want to throw barbs, do it somewhere else, please.
sent you a FB message.
I have 100 of them, we're up into the 70's number of finishers. Are you on FB?
I've been using the K10s, S/S for years. Easy to sharpen, quicker to put on and lighter than my big boy crampons.
You might be surprised at how the moderators put aside our own personal views on things to keep from appearing right or left.
Regarding the comment that positive posts get trolled, you might be surprised how closely Tim, Dave and I look at threads. Lots of discussion and sometimes debates over whether or if we should step...
Nice going, Spencer. Well done !
Isn't EMS under it's second bankruptcy? If you paid by credit card, call your card company and dispute the payment.
Let's keep this from straying into mask-no mask political debate.
Whoa - now if authorities in NYS could only do the same with the 'forest challenged'.
Tim, I've sent Osprey's back for their excellent customer service. You probably know this - If you want to be certain they don't destroy and replace if they feel it can't be fixed, use packing tape...
Thanks, Tim, the guy behind the curtain.
Looking for a women's Large softshell for my wife. Should have started looking a few months ago, but thought someone here might have recommendations. Searches for women's softshells unfortunately...
Tim does a GREAT job keeping everything humming.
Although VFTT has a mostly NE base, I was the one who pushed Darren for a NY page. Lots of people from NY to there and NE hikers looking for NY beta as well. Really glad to keep it.
Tim is the guy behind the curtain keeping up the tech end of VFTT. VFTT is good to go with funds unless the conversion is surprisingly expensive.
Spencer and his accomplishments are something else. Nice guy to boot.
Thanks everyone and thanks, Tim for the behind the curtain stuff.
540 people have viewed this thread. If you value VFTT, please help out.
I have a friend with a two year old Lab who sometimes escapes her yard. She's interested in a dog GPS device to safely locate her dog.
Any advice on makes, models, interface, cautions?
Thanks
Done, thanks, Tim. First time I've ever used PayPal. Can't think of a better reason.
Thank you, Joe
