Hi all,
I am desperately trying to find info on these woods in Saratoga County. I just bought a home whose backyard backs to Fire Pond County Forest. All i know is that it is a 150 acre County Forest. I have heard rumors that it also contains hiking trails, a few streams and a DEC stocked fishing pond. However, i can't find anything about it. It is near, but not attached to, the Wilton Wildlife Preserve.
Anyone heard of this area and know anything about it and/or know of any resources that may tell me a bit about it? I close on the property in a month and can't wait to explore, but would like some knowledge in the meantime.
