road access monadnock

Just curious if anyone has updated info on road access to either the Marlboro trail or the Dublin trail. I prefer non-state park headquarter approaches to the summit, and find halfway house road access excessively boring!! I have a Subaru Outback and can handle moderately rough going. I have been to the Marlboro trailhead in the past, but late Oct only. Am planning to go freeze my butt off up top on Sunday, bright yellow fleece hat, so say hi if you're up there!!

Dublin they historically only plowed to the last house & blocked the road with the snow. SO if no snow should be okay, I do not recall any gates.

Don't know about Marlboro but if same is true, I think that would be a shorter road walk to the Trailhead.

In winter I usually do Halfway house which does not have a fee in winter
