Prey and predator populations are on the rise in the Northeast. There were never EVER coyote here, they just moved in faster from the southwest than the wolves and cougars have from the north. Wild Boar is another "up-and-coming" addition to local populations. All this is very bad news for many ground dwelling animals and birds as their cover is destroyed.
