I was looking at the map of snow depth that NOAA provides at:
http://www.erh.noaa.gov/nerfc/graphics/snowmaps/html/snow_depth.html
Near the NE corner of Massachusetts is an area where someone (or some computer) seems to think that the snow level goes up to 60" and then off the scale.

I know it's some weird computer glitch but I thought it was interesting.

Since today's map will soon be gone, I posted it at:

I might take it down after a while. I don't want to piss NOAA off or I won't stand a chance of getting on his ark :<)

I wish there was a 60" base in Andover.

Yeah, Route 3 was a mess this morning: ;)

LOL! I'm reading "White Death", and there was a section where a plow encountered a 50' snow depth in Montana, along a road, w/o an avalanche, it was just what accumulated that winter! :eek:

It might have something to do with the IRS office in Andover;
that great sucking sound of our taxes being collected has created a weather anomaly !
