Does anybody have a good recommendation on a lakeside campsite for this campground in the ADKs? I'm looking at reserve america but there seems to be a whole bunch on the lake itself.
One that would make it possible (if legal, I don't know yet) to launch my kayak right from the campsite. I'm probably going to be camping at this campsite for the ADK Paddlefest on May 20th weekend and a nice place to paddle would be nice. It has to be road accessible cause Daxs may or may not have a kayak to use to get to say Tioga Point by Friday!
which is why I was thinking Golden Beach or perhaps Brown's Tract which doesn't have showers.
