Everest Expedition Weblog with video podcast

Knowing that some of you have summitted Rainier, and one or two have been atop Denali, and many others are interested in the larger bumps on the Earth's crust, I commend to your attention the Sky News Everest Expedition Weblog.

Sky News is a UK TV news channel. They have a reporter and camera crew at 18,000 feet on the West Ridge of Everest right now, accompanying a British Army expedition. The Weblog includes daily reports and other info, plus a video podcast.

Jim Gagne is the first native New Hampshirite to summit Everest. Two NH residents (Wilcox and Barter) preceded him on Everest. It was a lifelong dream, and he survived the Khombu cough and helped out a fellow hiker as he accomplished his dream. When verified, this completes the "7 Summits" for Gagne. Congratulations and best wishes for a safe return!
