    Catskills First Growth Forest Lecture

Dr. Michael Kudish is giving a pubic lecture on First growth forests in Ulster County. The lecture is: Wednesday, May 31, 6 PM, at a meeting of the Ulster County Environmental Management Council, 120 Burroughs Hall, Ulster County Community College, Cottekill Road, Stone Ridge, NY. Dr. Kudish is the author of the book, The Catskill Forest, A History, perhaps the most authoritative book ever written on the natural history of the Catskill Mountains. Dr. Kudish is a retired forestry professor (Paul Smith's College), and is still actively doing research on the Catskill Forest.
