It is gear and it will be used for hiking and climbing.
They are going to be fairly affordable, maybe I'll just carry the wife and kids on our next hike.

All kidding aside, I have a friend who is a very strong and active (nationally ranked athlete) paraplegic that something like this would be perfect for.

NO PATCH FOR YOU !!!

Imagine doing the AT in a month with all your gear, no postal drops, or a Range Traverse in a few hours instead of all day...or Everest. It wouldn't be like you weren't there and didn't "do it". Just got some help. I can see all sorts of opportunities for Disney-esque Adventure Travel Trips for the injured or out of shape. I think I know what my semi-retirement business is going to be.
