Anyone get caught in the Thuderstorms?

Was wondering how the thunderstorms were up in the Whites. They looked quite nasty and it looked like it hit especially hard from Cannon over thru the Pemi, Mount Washington and down to Conway. Anybody have any interesting stories?

I was working just outside of Conway Village and we didn't get a drop of rain, but could hear the thunder. When we got back to our office in North Conway the power had gone out from a lighting strike and hail.

In Thornton we were just south of the 3-4 PM severe thunderstorm, though we did get about fifteen minutes of heavy rain, with a shorter period of very severe wind. The thunder was pretty far away, no need to power off computers, so I watched the progress of the storm on the NWS radar.

Right now there is some intense activity around Rutland, moving in our general direction. The severe thunderstorm watch remains in effect until 8 PM.
