Anyone know if this road is still open and driveable? HikerBob, I believe you drove down there a couple of days ago, what were the conditions like exactly?

Just answered this question over on the AMC board - but I'll do so here too
On Saturday Mt Clinton Rd was gated beyond the Crawford Path parking lot. The road to the parking lot and the lot itself was well plowed.
A trip up the CP to Pierce and a jaunt along the ridge to Eisenhower would make a great day hike. If you don't stop to feed the Jays and chat with everyone you meet you may even get back before dark
