Acadia National Park, Oct. 13-15

I was up on Mt. Desert Island this past weekend for a race, but had plenty of time to do some exploring around the island the day before. I posted some pictures up on my website from that Saturday, including some of Sommes Sound and the summit of Cadillac Mountain (saw a porcupine on the summit, that was cool).

Very pretty! I was visting a friend on Deer Isle in Stonington, we took her boat over to Isle au Haut and did some hiking for the day, a newly discovered world for me. Looking forward to returning and hiking Cadillac next summer.
