What is the best approach for these fine central VT peaks? Is there a preferred route leading from the town of Warren? or from Granville Gulf? or from the East (I see a dotted line on the map -- is that a road?)? Are they on private property?
Thanks!

Pat and I climbed those in November 1993. I recall beautiful open woods most of the day. Too open - we followed hunters' tracks in the snow much higher than hunters usually go.

We parked just off Rte 100 a bit north of Granville Notch - where a road goes north to "Alpine Village" on the topo.

I did Rice and Adams, as part of a 3fer along with the south peak of the Northfield range. We wacked up from rte 100. The woods were open and there were some nice views along the ridge. But I also remember hitting several areas of the dreaded VT stinging nettles!
