A few posts have commented on the lack of snow....

Could someone tell me if the road is clear of snow to the Garden parking lot, or does a hike start from Keene.

The road to the Garden is plowed (not sanded), so it should be clear of snow. But sometimes it can get icy and can be difficult to get up the little hills just before the Garden.

Believe that that road can get icy. I have fallen victim to its icy ways. I came to a point where I just stopped going forward, and started sliding backwards. Then I was stuck fast in a snowbank.

I was up there on the first weekend of the year and not much snow was on the ground, maybe 3-7 inches depending on where you were..

The road was plowed as was the parking lot.

good luck, there should be a little more snow up there now...
