Wood Stove Usage in the WMNF

I have looked through the WMNF rules on fires and whatnot and I understand and agree with their fire policies, but I am wondering what their policy on small non-scaring wood stoves are? Does anyone know?

They are legal anywhere that fires are legal.

If you are talking about a Sierra Zip type stove- there may be some grey area, as it is considered a backpacking stove.

I would chat with a district ranger about it.
