Erik Schlimmer completes redlining of Catskill Trails

There is an article in the local Kingston NY newspaper about one of our VFTT members, Erik Schlimmer. He recently completed hiking the 323.9 miles of DEC trails within the Catskill Forest Preserve (88 trails). As mentioned in the article Erik has also completed the Northeast 770 list and bicycled from Canada to Mexico. He has also hiked the New York 3500' list in winter.

I saw a lot of red lines on my skin after whacking NE Halcott yesterday!

Great article Mark.That was the first thing I read early this morning.I never met Eric,but I did receive an e-mail from him once. He is a member here.Nice young man for sure,and quite the adventurer.
