Has anyone explored the area above the Panther Gorge Lean-to up into Panther Gorge?? Topo Zone Map

If so - what does the upper gorge have to offer?

A very small bit of somewhat open forest, and a lot of real thick and steep stuff. Real thick. We found nothing really special about it. No nice views, etc.

I've often wanted to do a walk through of the Gorge, maybe this summer. Keep in touch, we could make a group trip. Then compare wounds when were done.
