I know this is a long shot, but just wanted to give the climbing community a heads up. I run a trips program for a summer camp in Maine and over the weekend our trip shack was broken into and all the high end gear stolen. Here is a list of what was taken. PM me is you know anything. Many thanks. Most is labeled "N/O" for the camp Newfound-Owatonna, though some is hard to read.
All of the backpacks (40).
Kelty Red Cloud (6), REI Talus (6), LL Bean (6), Kelty Yukon external
frames (22)
All of the expensive counselor tents - 8 tents in all.
3 Northface, Marmot Equinox, Kelty Traildome 4man, Mountain Hardware Airjet (2 of them), MH Room w/view
All compasses - 18 including the case.
Case of Brunton
All trekking poles - 20 pair.
Leki
All dromedaries - 10.
MSR
A MSR cookset and frying pan - thankfully the remaining ones were
behind nalgenes.
All whisperlites stoves - 13 of them.
Our emergency kit for kayak trips with flares, horns etc - that is a
mystery as they didn't touch other expensive kayaking gear.
All Black Diamond climbing gear - Momentum harnesses s,m,l, various
cams, Half Dome helmets, ropes etc
