Although this might seem untimely as winter is on its way out, it is actually timely because you can find gear on sale now!

I have been borrowing my sons Oakley Wisdoms for all the trips that I knew I would need goggles. Last weekend we were on Lafayette together with the typical high winds, and because we were together I resorted to my ski goggles. The 3 of us in regular ski goggles were all fogged it (my guess is that your average ski goggle was not intended for the heat generated by climbing!!), but the Wisdoms prevailed so Spencer (wearing them) took us cairn to cairn. While they are pricy, being able to see (and I wear contacts) is worth it - IMHO. :)
