A few inches of snow at the base, but more as we worked our way up the mountain. I used crampons the entire way up as it was extremely icey in many spots. The ladder at the base of the summit was a bit tricky to negotiate but not bad if you take your time. We headed down to the pond for a quick view on the way out.
