Kearsarge North Trail is in fabulous condition, with packed snow covering most roots and rocks, no blowdowns, and good traction on the ledges.
While bare-booting is certainly possible, our group chose to wear traction footwear of one kind or another: crampons, Stabilicers or Micropoints. There is not enough snow to warrant snowshoes.
