Mt. Major via Brook Trail

Trail Conditions: Packed powder, windblown up high
Special Equipment Required: Snowshoes a good idea
Comments: Went up for the tail end of the sunset, was able to descend without headlamp thanks to half moonlight. Trail well packed up to Straightback Link...I broke the next section (sunk up to 1.5 feet in places even with snowshoes on), then the last portion was half drifts, half exposed rock.
