Date of Hike 12/19/07
Trail Conditions: We broke out 12-18 inches of powder from the Bike Path up,
The major brook crossing has a good snow bridge..all others easily crossed
Special Equipment: Snowshoes a must..poles as well..carried crampons but never used..typical winter gear as far as clothes go
Comments: A determined group of five broke trail as far as the campsite where we were close to our turnaround time.. After a brief lunch we Cruised down the mountain on the nicely packed trail..fine very late fall day in the Whites with this awesome workout day...making room for Christmas cookies!!!
