Trail Conditions: 6" inch base very supportive with only a few sections where the crusty underlayer would not support my weight. Short section of 12-18" snow drifts while traversing Dry Brook Ridge at 3100 feet.
Special Equipment Required: Snowshoes essential
Comments: On the last 300 vertical feet to Graham the old woods road is a complete mess with the trees apparently permanently bowed at a 3 to 4 foot height over the trail from the April 2007 Ice Storm. Felt like a hunchback trying to slip under the branches!
