I took the snowmobile trail to Haystack Road. A couple of guys laid down a ski track up Haystack to the first crossing on North Twin Trail then straight up the Little River to the last crossing. It was sweet on the way in but I was punching through on the way out. So the trail is somewhat broken to the first crossing and then it picks up again as a snowshoe track to South Twin.
Snowshoes required. Skis and poles optional.
