Trail Conditions: The brook crossing had to be handled with care, since the rocks were icy. Both trails were hard packed. We bare booted up to were it becomes very steep in the Mt Osceola Trail, where we put crampons. The steep ascend was easy, with the hard packed snow and the crampons. Not much ice. We saw some people who did the ascent with their snowshoes: it must have been a bit harder, but they did it! The trail on the ridge between the 2 mountains is also packed down. Few postholes along the way, but trail in good overall condition.

Special Equipment Required: Traction essential on the steep ascent.

Comments: We were lucky, since it started snowing just when we were about to reach the parking at the end!
