Trail: Moat Mountain Trail
Date: January 1, 2008
Trail conditions: lightly packed snow, no ice, excellent snowshoeing and steady snowfall starting 40 minutes in.
Required equipment; Snowshoes, winter gear. Mild day but cold on the summit. Poor visiblity and only my tracks on the very top, so I did not stay long. Some ice and crust on top but snowshes were fine.
