12/29/07 Lower portion of trail easily followed through perfect powder up to scrub trees. Had to turn back about .2 miles from the summit due to spruce traps about 3-4 feet deep. My lighter companions at 100# to 150# walked right across the crust. I am 220# (on Danali Evo Ascents) and broke though. Great day to be out. Snow shoes necessary. 3:30 hours up, 1:15 down.
