Snow from trailhead to Summit. Lots of snow toward summit and on slide. Snowshoes necessary, poles desirable by many for the steeper parts of the slide and whenever. Crampons not necessary this day at all. Views outstanding - some fresh snow falling at the end of the day. Long. Bring lots of energy food. More fluids than your average day in the woods.
