Trail from Round Pond to Boquet lean-to was well packed, from lean-to to base of slide had a couple inches of unpacked snow. From base of slide to the top of Dix was completely unbroken with 2+ feet of fresh snow, it is now a nicely broken out trail. Went over to Beckhorn in search of herdpath to Hough, unable to find it. Snowshoes essential, crampons carried, but not used.
