Date of Hike: 1/6/2008
Trail Conditions: Heavy snow, somewhat broken to the Liberty Cabin - unbroken from there to summit. There was a badly mangled deer in the middle of the trail near the trailhead. Road was unplowed to the trailhead, requiring about an extra half mile walk.
Special Equipment Required: Snowshoes pretty much required - crampons were somewhat helpful in places.
Comments: The trail is now packed to the summit, but there are several routes to get there. Twice we missed the trail going up, but packed out the "official" trail going down. At both deviations, stay left for the correct route.
