Trail Conditions: Started on the north section of the Wachipauka trail. The trail was unbroken in its entirety which made for some strenuous hiking considering the foot of so of fresh powder on top of the already large base. The Webster Slide spur trail was a pain to ascend, but lots of fun coming down. The views from the top of the slide were great.
Special Equipment Required: snowshoes essential. My first time hiking in the snow with gators, and my first time with dry feet at the end of the day. I wish I had sprang for them earlier.
