you could hike along eastern MA without a lot of trouble - maybe a minor traction aid, but certainly no need for snowshoes...

Weir Hill and the Ward Reservation (Holt and Boston Hills) in No. Andover and Andover - not far south of NH -were fine eight days ago - just some icy patches on shaded stretches of Weir Hill trails.

Southeastern CT, Pachaug, Airline trails, maybe Devils Hopyard State Park.
you might find a little snow on Soapstone Mt. in north central CT but no snowshoes required.

thanks for the input everyone. im just looking to get some trail running in early. tired of the road. no way dave bear. mark and i were just getting warmed up.

The heavy rain that came through yesterday has erased any evidence of snow in my area in Northern CT.
