Trails: Lollipop loop following the 19-Mile Brook Trail to Carter Dome Trail to Carter-Moriah Trail then back down the 19-Mile Brook Trail.
Conditions and Equipment: Packed snow for most of the way up and barebooted with no problems. Strapped on snowshoes a few tenths of a mile away from the summit. Kept snowshoes on during the descent to the Carter Notch Hut, snow here seemed less packed down than on the way up on the other side. From Carter Notch Hut back to the trailhead, snowshoes not needed.
Worth noting that the trail up to Mt. Hight was not broken in. We passed a group of hikers who said they might give it a shot though.
