Via Sawyer River Road & Signal Ridge Trail.

Booted the first 4 1/2 miles of Sawyer River Road and Signal Ridge
Trail. Used snowshoes for upper 2 1/2 miles of Signal Ridge Trail.
Some folks in the group used crampons.

Conditions for hiking Carrigain, in the winter season, or in the month
of March, are currently pretty ideal. Snow depths are normal. The
track is well packed and easily traveled. No major blowdowns. A
few bendovers. Streams running low, and easily crossed.

Equipment: Snowshoes, full crampons, trekking poles, etc.

Carrigain, completes the "NH 48", for me, for this calendar winter season.

Currently my "73 rd" four thousand footer for this calendar winter season.

"Thank you", to all, who join me on so many of my hikes!!!!
