Dr. McLaren is one of those people you should meet if you get a chance. He is very knowledgeable, and also very entertaining. He speaks with a delightful Scottish accent.
In addition to hypothermia, he also is an expert on moose vs. vehicle collisions. He has a lot of first-hand knowledge on these. He has done a lot of speaking to different groups, emphasizing awareness/prevention where possible.
