I was tied up all Sat. morning and couldn't get away until 2:00 PM. No choice but to go to my number one backup. The Firewarden's trail was as usual broken out by the snowmobiles as well as other hikers. None of the other trails showed any sign of having been used.
There was a great deal of drifting with the high winds. Snowshoes were not necessary on the Firewarden's trail, but probably essential on any of the other trails.
The wind at the top was very strong.
