The Ledges trail is now bare from bottom to top. After the first 200 yards the old logging road is quite wet and muddy but still easily passed. The two streams are flowing strong and may require a bit of wading but still present no problem. From the steep section up, the trail is dry all the way to the top. The top is also snow free. The ridge with the cell phone tower is covered in snow, so there will be snow on the south west ridge trail. The fire warden's trail is also covered with snow and ice.
For the ledges trail no special equipment needed other than water. It was warm out there today.
I was trying to wear out Lauky a bit before his dog class this evening. It didn't work. His nickname at the school is "energizer". He lived up to his name tonight.
