Finally a sunny day!

The Livermore Rd Trail was nice and dry. We broke off onto the North Slide trail and encountered our first snow about 1/2 mile in. The 1st 900 feet of the slide was snow covered until we got out of the tree cover. Bare ledge the rest of the way up. On the north summit and through out the ridges the snow is still 5 feet deep. The Middle peak was clear then another ridge of 5 foot deep snow. The south peak was clear and most of the southern loop was clear. Black flies were buzzing but not biting.
