conditions: to dianas bath as expected. crossing of lucy brook on red ridge certainly not "high", but still took boots off to keep them dry for rest of loop.
trail wet after that for a bit and next brook before climbing up to the ridge was fine. trail a bit obscure in places. ledges to the moat ridge dry. some pathcy snow in dips on main ridge to north moat. more patchy snow and wet ledges on descent for the first .5 or so. crossing of lucy brook on moat mt. trail was dry with boots.
equipment: t shirt and shorts all day. had almost a summer pack with a bit extra in case.
comments: first time on this loop after many years hiking in the whites. really extraordinary. could have spent hours at multiple lookouts and had a very long summit stay. clear and beautiful with a light breeze. perfect day for this trip.
